The ACE Easter-Themed Cookery and Crafts Workshop is a fun-filled, creative day designed for children aged 5–16 years. Delivered in two age-appropriate groups, the workshop offers an inclusive, engaging programme packed with hands-on activities and plenty of Easter-inspired excitement. In the kitchen, our young chefs will roll up their sleeves and get creative. Using our child-friendly recipe books, participants will make delicious cheese quiches, while learning about the versatility of eggs and pastry. They’ll then bake strawberry jam tarts, before finishing with a sweet Easter treat of either chocolate cornflake nests or homemade Easter truffles. Alongside the cookery sessions, children can enjoy a variety of craft activities, choosing from a range of Easter-themed projects. These include egg pebble art, wool Easter decorations, handmade Easter cards, and Easter bonnet decorating, giving everyone the chance to express their creativity and take home something special. The workshop runs for five hours, from 10am to 3pm, and includes the option of a healthy hot lunch for those who prefer it over a packed lunch. The lunch menu features a jacket potato with a choice of fillings and salad, followed by yoghurt, fruit, and a juice drink. Please contact us to reserve a hot meal, priced £5. The session will be held at Hornsea Town Hall, a centrally located and accessible venue with lift access. The cost is £30 per child for this full-day Easter experience.
